"TSRI Names Gordon Kotik Vice President of Product Development"
Kirkland, WA. (August 7, 2006) – The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI), a world-class provider of automated software modernization services for legacy systems, today announced that Mr. Gordon Kotik has been named the company’s Vice President of Product Development. In this role, Mr. Kotik will be responsible for developing the JANUS Studio®    , a family of tools that will support highly automated software modernization.

Mr. Kotik is a highly experienced senior software executive with 20 years of experience in software product development and sales, with particular emphasis on the legacy system modernization market. Of special note was Mr. Kotik’s decade of experience with Reasoning Systems, Inc., a pioneer in legacy system modernization. At Reasoning, Mr. Kotik excelled as Vice President of Engineering and subsequently as the President and CEO of that company for seven (7) years. Mr. Kotik holds a BA in Mathematics from Princeton University and a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
