2005 - Lockheed Martin - P-3C Modernization

"Lockheed Martin Expands TSRI's P-3C Modernization Contract"

Kirkland, WA. (October 4, 2005) – Kirkland, WA. (October 4, 2005) – Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMCO) has expanded The Software Revolution, Inc.’s (TSRI’s) contract for supporting modernization of the acoustic signal processing code on-board the Navy’s P-3C aircraft. The contract expansion will allow TSRI to apply the automatic re-factoring capabilities inherent in TSRI’s JANUS Studio®    toolset to improve the system’s performance and maintainability.

Greg Tadlock, TSRI’s Vice President, Sales & Marketing said, “TSRI is pleased that the success we’ve had thus far in transforming the P-3C’s Ada code to C++, and in providing related support to this important LMCO project, has given LMCO the confidence to move forward with TSRI on automatic re-factoring, a process whereby dead and redundant code is removed from a system without changing the system’s functionality.”
